Robust, based in Remscheid, Germany, specialise in designing and building slitting, rewinding and core cutting machinery, together with patented friction winding shafts.

Tailor made slitting and rewinding machines are available with features such as cross cutting, stacking, in-line punching and separate unwind units. Also in the range is their SSV 15 machine developed specifically to cut plain or laminated test strips or "dipsticks". The machine will operate at up to 120 cuts/minute producing test strips from 80 to 120mm long and 4 to 6mm wide.
